Selena Savage is a trombonist, vocalist, composer and arranger from Whitehorse, Yukon. She currently lives in Toronto.Selena's arrangements have been performed by the Jim Lewis 12tet, William Carn 10tet, Angela Pincente Jazz Orchestra, UofT Jazz Orchestra, and her own small and large ensembles. The Selena Savage Septet performs at many Toronto venues, such as the Jazz Bistro, The Rex, and the Emmet Ray.Since moving to Toronto in 2021 for her studies, Selena has had the opportunity to perform alongside musicians like Rich Brown, Terri Lyne Carrington, Sean Jones, Dan Fortin, David Restivo, and many more. At UofT, she studied trombone and arranging with Terry Promane, who continues to be one of her largest musical influences.Selena offers lessons in voice, trombone, and arranging.
